Window Texture Maker

REQUIRES BLENDER 4.3+ TO USE!.

Tired of endlessly searching the internet for free window textures for you models or iterating through thousands of AI image generaters to no avail well look no further, presenting our solution to the problem is "Window Texture Maker" an all in 1 solution to make large amounts of window textures for large or small scale projects.

Currently the blender scene is set up to render flat 2D image textures (EEVEE) for low poly houses etc but will be updated in the near future to support export of full 3D meshes to use as prefabs.

How To Use:

1: Open the "WindowTextureMaker" blender file.

2: Navigate the scene view to a window of choice.

3: In the viewport simply go to "View/Viewport Render Image".

4: Save your window texture to disk then open the image in a image editor to crop and scale to size.

5: Thats all, if you need more variants can open the shader editor on frames and glass to apply included wood surfaces or modify the parameters for even more control (note may need to set image type to non color to get a correct blend, may also need to unplug normals/specular for base texture cycles renders, can make new for base surface).

Shader Setup:

1: Base color map: the texture to use as a base surface.

2: Overlay detail map: the dirt/paint layer to overlay.

3: Overlay specular map: roughness for the overlay texture.

4: Overlay normal map: normals for the overlay texture with curve editor.

5: Overlay strength: the amount of overlay visable.

6: Mix color: mix a new color onto the window base/overlay.

7: Shadows: control the fine detail edge shadows.
